my half-acre of gardens
is a
collection of a few small trees and shrubs situated
among waves of weeds with paths mown 'round! Some areas
are more developed than others including a large flower
cutting garden, vegetable gardens, and cold hoop houses
for year round greens.
We live on an open, former alfalfa hay field. For a
dozen summers I have been slowly converting our land to
gardens. This has turned out to be a much bigger task
than I could ever have imagined. I often say gardening
in the Rocky Mountains is not for the faint of heart!
But no matter how challenging it is, I truly love to be
in the garden.
