my strawbale home

is a post and beam structure with a passive solar orientation. We designed our home ourselves and helped build it. After our house was finished I studied Feng Shui and have made adjustments reflective of the Form School approach or Intuitive Feng Shui.

Our design was inspired by French country homes and we brought elements of those aesthetics into its construction. It's layout and function however, is reflective of our twenty first century life, with kitchen, dining, and living room spaces blended together. We enjoy using an antique wood cook stove on winter mornings and have porches and patios on all four sides of the house to take advantage of being outdoors in every season.
